Citizen of the World
I consider myself a citizen of the world because I consider no one country my home. I am from anywhere and everywhere ("Wherever I lay my head, that's my home").
The easiest question you can ask most people is, "Where are you from?" That is one of the most difficult questions to ask me. I have given up on trying to explain or to choose a country. I have never lived for more than five years in a single country. I have lived on four continents and 45 countries to date (see: World Travels). I have been traveling since the day I was born. This is also true of everyone in my immediate family.
I am a cosmopolitan in every sense of the word. I call where I was born or my citizenship an "accidental association or concept". I am multicultural, a Third Culture Kid, and at-home in almost any setting in just about any country.
