Image stitching

Image stitching or photo stitching is the process of combining multiple images to produce a panorama or larger image. Computer software is often used to interpolate the final image where the component images are not in precise alignment.
Most methods require that the images have all been taken from the same point in space; they are then arranged into a typically spherical projection by matching the edges of the images to each other.
